Advanced IoT & Smart Systems (Vision & Cloud Connectivity)
Welcome to the future of technology: the Internet of Things. Using the ESP32-S3 CAM, students learn to connect hardware to the cloud, building smart systems monitored and controlled from a smartphone.
What Students Will Learn
Wireless Communication
Master the protocols to connect microcontrollers to the internet and local devices using Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
Cloud Integration
Set up a backend server using the Blynk platform, creating custom smartphone dashboards to stream data and remotely control hardware.
Vision & Camera Utilization
Program the ESP32-S3 CAM to capture, process, and stream images or video feeds for real-time monitoring.
Remote Data Management
Structure data so physical sensors can trigger instant push notifications and live updates to a mobile device.
The Capstone Project
Students are given full creative freedom to engineer a complete, real-world IoT solution — such as a visual security monitor, an automated smart waste bin that alerts users when full, or a remote environmental tracker. This project demonstrates readiness for university-level engineering concepts.
